I assume the subjectivity, the absolutely private opinion and the imminence of the special emotion, a few days after a new return from Provence…
Yes, today, in the middle of a lovely, spring-like November, I tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that Provence is a wonder, a piece of magic, a genuine show of perfection.
And as each unforgettable place tells its story through its flavors, tastes, papilla and fragrances, too, in an utterly convincing way, I invite you to follow me on a mixological route, through “my colored Provence”…
Allons-y!

•    Black Pearl, from the fancy Bar La Bastide de Gordes, in the hotel with the same chic name, of the little town that inspired Chagall, shrouded me with Amaretto flavors, with notes of Mandarine Napoleon brandy and with the freshness of pineapple juice and bubbles of sexy champagne;

•    Tatin Martini is a little star at the famous bar Le Capian, in Marseille-a landmark of the place-and seduces you in its turn with some Stoli vodka tasting of salty caramel, a drop of cinnamom syrup and apple juice, a subtle aroma that calls up the famous “tatin” tarts of the area. Just in the nick of time!

•    Les Dantes, in the classic Dante Bar, with a panoramic view over Marseille, is as sophisticated as the place it hosts: some Ferroni rum, mixed with pomegranate liqueur and a little orange juice, enriched with passion fruit coulis (a very fine jam), aloe honey for an extra savor and fresh raspberry, plus a bit of passion fruit, to look stunning!

•    Voleur d `Amour - how could love miss in France?- at Europe Hotel, worthy of a marquis, it`s a délicieuse fusion of gin, Mandarine Imperial liqueur, sourish cranberry juice, Angostura bitter and Perrier in the end.

•    And last, but not least, the traditional French Pastis (especially Provençal): a strong, clear, delicious aroma, an appetizer drink tasting of anise, in a lot of surprising combinations, or simply served for those with “incontournables” tastes.
