Through all my colored journeys, I have never met too many animal-friendly resorts, like Temple Tree.
Not only does the owner hosts tens of nice dogs and plump, lazy, playful and nosy cats, but he also uses a part of his profit for his hobby: Animal Shelter&Sanctuary Foundation(LASSie)

Temple Tree is , in fact, a resort within a resort, as it lies inside Bon Ton Langkawi which I have already told you about, but what really impressed me was the incredible mix of cultures - Chinese, Malay, Indian, which is to be found in some houses with shutters, doors and pieces of furniture that had been recovered&restored.

It`s actually a kind of beautiful museum with about 20 rooms, having antique exhibits and lively colors that reflect the Malayan life style. They can be the subject of research for many designers and architects.

As for myself, I rediscovered nature, where I relaxed and lounged around, I recharged my "batteries", I had a first-class lunch and I managed to catch some cats who wouldn`t let anyone take photos of them, at the beginning.
For the game and book lovers, in Straits Clubhouse, in the Temple Tree, a 90 year old building, you are going to find a room especially designed for this purpose, a library, a bar and a restaurant, ready to welcome its guests at all times.
