We have already reached the halfway point of our journey ....but I don`t want to give it a second thought...I enjoy every passing hour, every  minute and every second as well as each little corner of Incredible India. As I feel I am the luckiest to be here.
It`s the 4th day of our journey and we got to Sawai Madhopur, a city in which we turned the points. We passed from history and architecture to the Indian fauna and flora, to an untouched and wonderful nature, to adventure and exploration, in Sawai, which hosts the Ranthambore National Park, one of the biggest national parks of India and its  Ranthambore Fort, under UNESCO patrimony.

Rathambore is the kingdom of tigers, but you can find a great variety of species here, in a reservation which really takes your breath away and makes you feel a little Indiana Jones, for at least a couple of hours.

On the same day, we made a halt in a...pink paradise. Yes, in the Pink City, Jaipur. Founded in 1727, by the Maharah Sawai Jai Sing IInd, the city is fabulous by the way the streets are built, by its infrastructure, and by the uniqueness of the pink architecture, It`s the capital of Rajasthan and a highly visited place in India.
Wherever you turn your eyes, you come across antiquities, fine jewels, remarkable craftsmen and their charming handicrafts, bazaars, extraordinary food, but also musicians and museums. First, we stopped at Amber Fort

then at Hawa Mahal(The Wind Palace), built of pink rock, of course, so that, in the past, the women in the royal family would watch the festivities from a place where they couldn`t be noticed.

Then I admired Jantar Mantar, the famous observatory of Maharajah Sawai Jai Sing II'nd,

finishing with the City Palace, an impressive and vast (pink) mix of little palaces, pavilions, yards and gardens.

Enough for today....it`s time to go to bed now! Tomorrow we`ll be in Khajuraho!
