The story of my colored journey by Royal Rajasthan began…in Bucharest, in a cinema hall, while spending two hours of pure joy, emotion, smile,  feelings that only some particular cinema stories can offer you: Slumdog Millionaire.

Just then it occurred to me to make an initiation journey through the marvelous India and soon after that, „the serendipity” made me come across a magazine which was fully dealing with the „Royal Rajasthan on wheels”, the train - a perfect guide for an incredible adventure.

Once I booked on their site, I couldn`t wait for the big day. It is true that the rooms look better in the pictures than in reality, and the sound made by the horn of the train whenever it came closer to another train was rather unpleasant, but no sacrifice is great enough for such a travel!

First day, I woke up in the morning in Jodhpur. The Sun City or The Blue City is absolutely and totally fascinating. It`s a mystical place, it`s the 2^ndbiggest city in the Indian state Rajasthan and it`s actually a fort that preserves artifacts, hides royal cradles, musical instruments and proudly shows off temples and palaces. The tour starts in the little, narrow, thoroughlypaved streets between charming houses with carved windows. Sun, sweets-as it is renowned for its little shops with high-calorie delicacies-and dream views. Briefly speaking, that`s Jodhpur, which came into being in 1459. Then you get to Mehrangarh Fort, one of the main tourist attractions of the city, an imposing fortress-museum

but also to Ulmaid Bhawan Palace, one of the biggest and most luxurious… private residences in the world.

I was absolutely delighted to see and to feel my soul overflowing with joy! Next stop: Udaipur.
