Cheers! The exotic variant
The arm of Europe is quite long… And when it meets Oriental hearts, exotic souls, the mix is fa-bu-lous! And Penang is a testimony of this absolutely charming ”marriage”, showing it off at each corner. The British colonialism, with its deco, architectural touches of customs and lifestyle are part of the history of this place; but do you know where this mix is deeply ‘felt”? As soon as you discover it, are you going to experience it so that you canremain faithful to it for good? Yes…it`s about the papillae that we are talking about.
Are you ready? Cocktaaails!
“Colored“ top in Penang:
- Lychee and Lemongrass Smash – lemongrass, kaffir lime and lychee leaves,all smashed and well mixed ,with fresh lime and vodka. Ah,and an ice cube!Trust me, it makes the difference.This cocktail,which I tasted at Cheong Fatt Tze Restaurant,is on the first place top of my favs of all times!That`s all I can say!
- Sauvignon Bellini – a cocktail, so as simple as tempting, at the sober and exquisite Den Bar in the mansion of the Macalister Hotel, with white wine,peach schnapps, for a strong flavour and fresh lychee, so as to remind it that it is still in Malaysia

- Farquhar`s Classic – a surprising combination in a single cocktail: Bacardi Blanc and Bacardi Oro mysterious rum,fancy Otard VSOP brandy, sweet-bitterish Amaretto ,and for a fresh note-pineapple juice, orange and lime juice.I tasted it at Farquhar`s Bar, Eastern@Oriental Hotel and I would taste it anywhere in the world;
