All the colored encounters with the people of Cuba have always taken place under the badge of good, dance, music and …rum. But the last of them, the one I had a month ago, wove its magic through the story of  detail, of  perfect light and recollections by the lens of Mr.Miguel Angel Meana Coronado`s camera, a visual artist, chief editor of Epicur Asia Magazine and a press photographer of the Daily Paper in Havana; an extremely skilled photographer, but particularly a fairy character, nice, creative and generous companion during an unforgettable holiday in Havana.
Feeling like taking a few hours` photography lessons in the photogenic Havana, the concierge of the hotel where I stayed  recommended him to me, and, consequently, I thanked them for the couple of such lovely hours I spent in the tiny streets of the city. I started with Paseo del Prado and I finished with the Old Centre, by taking photographs, each one with his own camera, then comparing them and receiving some pieces of advice related to how I could get as good and special photos as possible.
The charismatic photographer came to our meeting place by motorbike, straight from the idyllic Varadero, where he had had a shooting with models from Russia and Romania; eeeee?

We had some cosmopolitan discussions  about Romania and Cuba, and he told me about his Chinese origins (after his grandfather) and his Spanish ones (his grandmother`s city of origin being Havana but she is also of Spanish origin) and about his favorites places in the city: from the Paladar La Fontana – for its fabulous and legendary food to the Havana Café in Meliba Cohiba-for its music and ambiance.
