The 6 surprises to be relished in Siem Reap
What would the spirit be without a drop of mundane? And how much would wisdom worth, without a bit of …excessive?
Eh, Siem Reap, the Cambodian corner of paradise surprises the gastronomy lovers in a wonderful way, and moreover, the experts in mixology are dumbstruck and happy to taste. Do you doubt it? Voilà: “les six sans soucis”!
• Frontline stands high, particularly at FCC Bar (FCC Angkor Boutique Hotel ) as the fusion of vodka infused with chilli and Kampot pepper and passion fruit, lime and vanilla syrup is obviously a nº 1

• Royal Lounge is a sort of “special guest” of the Living Room Bar (from Park Hyatt Hotel) with frothy wine, vodka and flavored Grand Marnier ,and delicious raspberry sauce
• Khmer Martini is a bit soberer, you can find it at the same bar and with the same refinement:vodka, kaffir, lemongrass and dry vermouth
• Airavata stole my heart, in the same way as the famous and stylish Elephant Bar from the Raffles Hotel did, with a refreshing cocktail with rum, banana cream, lime juice, fresh coconut juice and Malibu

• Indochine Martini from the uber cool & vintage Miss Wong Bar has a bit of creativity that impressed me with the mix of vodka with infused, homemade ginger liqueur, mixed and served with a few drops of pineapple juice
• Miss Wong Punch has vintage touches and the cocktail, like the place itself-still Wong Bar-with St.James white rum and triple dry, and flavored with cranberry, pineapple, mango and lime juices. A crazy mixture served with soda
