It`s like a “mitique DACQUOISE”: a layer of aerated baked batter, cream “à la vanilla”, berries, a layer of meringue, whipped cream, fruits again, lemon cream. Light, eclectic, but so well harmonized, sinful, irresistible, sweet, unforgettable, refined…Mais oui, mon Paris is like a perfect cake, you wish it would never be eaten up.
And if you are offered only one piece, if you weren`t allowed to relish but a small part -un quartier-I would recommend Saint-Germain-des Prés of Eugène Delacroix, Monet, Camus and Simone de Beauvoir; aux fourchettes, mes gourmands! 

 
• A stroll in the charming tiny streets, that hide boutiques and art galleries, famous cafés and luxury restaurants at every step-is a good starting point in St.Germain, n`est-ce pas?
• A promenade through Jardins de Luxembourg is an almost poetical experience…
• Un peu de shopping can`t be missed in Paris…donc, I invite you to Bon Marché, the oldest shopping area in the city, designed by Gustave Eiffel; yes, right in the heart of Saint-Germain-des Prés
• Saint-Sulpice Church that is connected with the names of many artists, among which Delacroix should be mentioned, with its amazing interior frescoes is a must, especially on the list of the art and architecture lovers
• Monsieur la Pierre Hermé, an accomplished pastry-cook, ”couturier” is waiting for you in his confiserie, for a unique tasting of macarons, ses “chefs d`oeuvre”; ah, don`t forget to glance at ..the delicious windows of the boutique with sweet experiences, too
• Karl Lagerfeld`s 7L Bookshop counts among the coolest ones in Paris, so, go and visit it; you`ll undoubtedly find at least an/aart/fashion/visual culture album here which you MUST get  
• When you are in St.Germain, the afternoon coffee or tea should be relished either at the Café de Flore, the best of the best in Paris, or at the Café Les deux Magots, another Parisian legend
• St.Germain Church is among the oldest ones in Paris and is going to be a peaceful break, of an accomplished aesthetics, in the same St. Germain
• Rue de Buci is also worth a little walk and you`d better stop here for an appetizer before dinner, comme les parisiens
• Don`t leave St.Germain without having a spectacular dinner at L`Atelier de Joël Robuchon (you need to make a reservation, in advance, on their site) or in the oldest restaurant/café of Paris, Le Procope have an “inoubliable” ambiance.
