“Keep good company-that is, go to the Louvre”, says Cezanne, and he was perfectly right, because the Louvre is the quintessence of all the Parisian museums and must be seen at least once in a lifetime.
But I would extend the “Bucket List” of histories, experiences and museum-related joys in my colored way, Paris style. The offer is too generous, the stories behind the hundreds of artistic “collections” are too interesting, the cultural emotions too obvious for us to stick to a single option, even if it`s a mythical one..Donc…

Les musées de Paris-la version “colored”:
 
• Grand Palais - until February 29th, if you get to Paris, you`d better not miss a legendary exhibition, Picassomania, with works of the cubist master, but also with paintings of some artists who celebrate the matchless Spanish artist through their works of art; A won-der-ful exhibition!

• Musée d`Orsay- a Mecca for the lovers of impressionism, with an overwhelming collection: Degas, Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Gaugain or Van Gogh

• Centre Georges Pompidou - if not for other reasons, at least from Romanian vain-gloriousness  it is worth “une visite”, for the permanent exhibition of Brancusi`s Workshop; if you still walk in, don`t miss the permanent plastic art expo, the Wilfredo Lam, Louis Aragon, Georges Bataille , Jean Cocteau exhibition…

• Pinacothéque de Paris - the art gallery-host, completely “chaleureuse”, of some temporary or pop-up expos, like the one of Lagerfeld`s which the fashion magazines, ”taste makers” of the world have been talking about for a while: ”A visual journey”; photo, visual stories from the “mode&célébs” world, through monsieur Karl`s quite pretentious aesthetic lens –opened until March 20th 2016. Colored rec!

• Musée Jaquemart-André - the former house of Édouard André, has a gorgeous collection of art, many of them, of Italian inspiration, in an awesome space in the heart of Paris.
