1. Admire both the exteriors and the interiors of the richly historical, decorated churches, such as Iglesia del Salvador

the charming azulejos that you can see at every corner

and, by all means, discover the patios of Seville, tiny architectural jewel

2. Check Torre del Oro, too, the former defense tower, from where you can see the Triana neighborhood, over Guadalquivir…awesome!

3. Don`t go home without buying some typically Spanish ceramics, carefully painted, which you can find in many places, Ceramica Santa Ana in Triana being a very popular shop

4. Go up to Metropol Parasol(or “Las setas”-The Mushrooms) that seem to represent the biggest wooden  structure in the world, to admire the city from above and take pictures

5. Take a look round Mercado Lonja del Barranco,that came into being in the 19th century, and that preserve, even nowadays, the same old, traditional Andalusian air, but with contemporary accents. The stalls with goodies and food court with everything steal the heart of any passer-by

6. The La Campana Confectioner`s shop, the most famous in town, is located in an old, 19th century building  and abounds in sweets, each and all very tasty

7. Don`t miss a flamenco show! Museo de baile flamenco offers you a first-class performance, classes and workshops, too (careful, you`ll meet many tourists!)

8. Sip leisurely a cocktail at the Panoramic Bar La Terazza De EME hotel

or at La Terrazza (Hotel Inglaterra) with a nice view over the cathedral

and at Bar Americano, from the unique Alfonso XIII Hotel (if you still go there to have a  drink, make the most of the visit and admire the interiors which are fantastic)

9. Try tapas, you`ll lick your fingers at La Brunilda or at El Burladero

10. If you fancy more sophisticated restaurants, I recommend Taberna Dei Alabardero, where the fish taco with pea pasta, boletus and garlic, the grilled fish with garlic pasta and dried tomatoes impressed me mucho, but also Egana Oriza, to try some creative dishes. Extra yumm!
