The emotion of Seville in 3…glasses

I would have liked to enjoy a longer stay there, to get to know all its secrets, to walk all its tiny streets, patios and corners, to grasp all its special  flavors, scents and tastes…
But there were only a few days of “affaire d`amour” with the wonderful Seville and until other revelations&discoveries, I`d like to make a board of emotions&history of Seville in 3 mixological steps. 3 gorgeous cocktails, with flavors of southern Spain  and history in Andalusian glasses. Curious?

• The Discovery of Heaven from the posh Bar Americano (Hotel Alfonso XIII), can be considered a way to heaven: the fine cherry wine, with the Orange Flower Water bitter, invigorated by some fresh lemon juice and Blue Curaçao will delight  all your senses. Thrilling like a view of the city from the splendid Giralda.

• Rose Cocktail from the charming EME Hotel, more precisely El Bar Panoramico, one of the best in town, will shroud you in a light and sweetish Kirsch aroma, grenadines and vermouth, ornated with physalis . ”El passion” like a flamenco in the evening, at Feria de Abril.

• Being awarded the Premio Nacional Cocteleria (first prize in 2003) - Manilva Cocktail - which I sipped leisurely in La Terraza from Hotel Inglaterra- is a combo of whisky and red Martini, soothed by the orange and lime liqueur. Flavored like a spring evening on the bank of Guadalquiviri.
