"Un beau matin, je sais que je m’éveillerai, différemment de tous les autres jours" as Aznavour says and sings about love, from the little corner of France I’m so deeply in love with or I love it "énormément”, so to say. It’s about Provence that I’m talking about.Monsieur Charles, too and the whole world love Provence with its landscapes, its picturesque villages, spread over the hills and those fields of lavender which are in full blossom till August.

Luberon is the heart of that place in the world which has been most loved, sung, painted photographed and here you can find most of the elements typical of the area, in a charming melange. The vine cultures, the wines, the bouillabaisse, the fougasse (that lovely bread), the ratatouille, Cézanne, Matisse, Renoir, the Maritime Alps, all of them are to be found, together, in the same place.

Yes, everything Ridley Scott shows and reveals in "A Good Year" is here: in Luberon, in the heart of Provence.

1. Abbaye de Sénanque, the cistercien abbey with those legendary fields of lavender – it’s one of the most photographed place in France

7. Apt - the little town, renowned for its lovely, attractive and colorful ceramics and for its antiquity fair, which takes place on Sundays

8. Château La Canorgue, somewhere near Bonnieux, which stood for the place that Russel Crowe had inherited in "A Good Year" and for which the film received a lot of good reviews

9. Cucuron, with Place de l’Étang,for its wonderful vines and the beneficent olive trees

10. Rousillon, also called the ochre village, for the colors that seem to be taken from Cézanne’s paintings, particularly because of the orange of the ochre mines
