A beach destination without beach bars isn`t complete if you can`t enjoy a sunset (which must be definitely wow), while sitting comfortably, with a tasty cocktail in your hand and with your feet buried in fine, white sand.

In Boracay I discovered a few that are worth keeping in the bucket list of colored uber bars around the world, but also in the little box of personal memories. So, I`ll share all of them with you, starting with my top favourite ones:

1. Solana from the superb Shangri-La's Boracay is exceedingly beautiful, strategically located on a rock, with little benches covered with colorful cushions and extraordinary cocktails

2. Cha Cha's Café is my favorite one from White Beach, for its Miami-like vibe and cool design; the little tables are displayed among the tall palm trees and a certain distance is kept between them, so that you can have intimacy

3. Still at Shangri-La's Boracay you will find Alon Bar, a perfect beach bar, a spot you definitely need to check!

4. Aplaya Beach Bar the one with many tables and little, multi-colored cushions arranged on the sand is perfect for sunset, and seems to be a kind of quintessence of the island, with extremely tasty cocktails and wines, with a tropical design and air

5. West Cove is to be found in Diniwid Beach, where you can get more easily by tricycle, it`s a long way but it is worth it, as it is as picturesque as possible, being built on the rocks; don`t expect to see something sophisticated, as the décor is very basic but special in itself, it`s secluded, and it is worth coming here only for the scenery. Careful: you pay some money right from the start, out of which you can order anything you want

6. Ape Bar is also located in White Beach (in Station 1) and the atmosphere is much quieter, it has little tables with cushions on the sand and on the whole, it has  a charming  setup

7. Wahine Beach Bar in Diniwid Beach is very casual, with colorful cushions, is one of the most popular in Boracay, with cocktails in coconut and a lot of wonderful mixtures. Colored cocktail rec: Slush Coconut, extra yummy!
