I`d rather not  mention any flaw, when speaking of Hvar. It`s less posh & famous than Mykonos or Ibiza but I venture to make a prediction: in the years to come, many people will fall in love with Hvar. Its people are wonderful, their dainties are relishable, its charm is perfect, and the beach-clubs… Ah, the beach-clubs…

One is cooler than the other, with its endless mood for “disconnecting”, flavors of #mediterraneangoodlife and the pure joy of #dolcefarniente  in Croatian style…

AND, here`s a Colored Top 5 for you, so that you can find it very easy to choose :

1. Laganini is a small, exclusive enclave on the Palmizana island – from the Hvar harbor, you can reach it by boat in about 15 minutes - where the world unfolds us in a different light: more serene, more beautiful, richer. You are going to find stories about clear seas and lazy sun loungers lying in the sun, perched on the cliffs, but also a lounge bar and a restaurant where chef Hrvoje is playing with “long forgotten” dishes in a wonderful way, reinterpreting them, only on the basis of fish and fresh sea food.

2. Bonj "Les Bains" surpasses, by far, any beach club in the area, as its fancy and posh air, but at the same time extremely romantic, retro and stylish, turns it into a “gemma”, taken out of the last century Italy. The wide space with large baldaquins and comfortable sun loungers, with a bar and a restaurant where you can enjoy some incredible, Mediterranean food attracts like a magnet and it isalready considered, for good reason, a hot spot of Europe during holiday season .

3. Carpe Diem that can be reached by boat from the harbor of Hvar, in about 5 minutes, is located on the little island of Stipanska, it fascinated me with its relaxed atmosphere, with a simple, but perfect setting for a beach-bamboo, palmtrees, pines-to be admired from the very comfy beds and sun loungers, but it also impressed me with beautiful vistas, a bar and a restaurant with very, very good local gastronomy!

4. At Hula Hula you can also practise hula hoop, if you feel like doing it; it`s the place where parties are topical  (they are held during the night, too), most of them start before sunset, daily - the reason why it is so renowned – and drinks actually run non-stop at  the bar, accompanied by the d.j. of the house and “his mood for party”. Colored recommendation!

5. The picturesque Tri Grede is located on the island of Zdrelca, the staggering one, with its azure and clear water and with a very likeable setup ,with large pillows you can sit on, but also with some quite comfortable chairs. The restaurant over here is not at all pretentious and offers you a wide range of delicious, fresh fish.

P.S. TriGrede is the only place from where you can jump directly intowater, in the others you can only have access to the water from the pontoons.
