It took its name from the sea it is facing each day and it is one of the fanciest boutique-hotels in the heart of Hvar.

It has an incredible spa, with a perfect selection of treatments, massages and yoga and it is not by chance that the connoisseurs consider it one of the best hotels on the island. I liked it so much, that I thought it richly deserved a place on the colored list.

Why: as the view over the harbor and the huge indoor pool, plus the corner with natural and organic products served for breakfast, as well as the cool design turn it into a very good check-point.

When: early or late summer, when Hvar is not so crowded, but it has already got the charm and the energy of holidays.

• The Spa over here, by all means! Sensori has various treatments and therapies with beneficent sea salts, Turkish oils and baths, reflexology, yoga, pilates. Inaddition, enjoy Bonj “Les Bains”, beach club, too (you have to pay ) where you have the chance to unwind, and if you are in the mood for a massage, you can try an incredible one, here.

• Rooms: 59 in number, with a plain and effective décor, in warm, suave shades and natural fabrics, offering great, local products (on the basis of lavender), with views and a je ne sais quoi, full of quietness.

• Butchery & Wine Restaurant, a premium, steak house restaurant, perfect for having lunches or dinners with fresh, organic, local ingredients.

• The Bar is located on several terraces with gardens, in a sophisticated and original ambiance, in a luxuriant setting, accompanied by delicious cocktails.
