Colored list of Bars in Paris:

• La Rhumerie – or why the flavors of rum are better smelt in Saint-Germain des Près! This bar has been famous since the `30s and it is still present between the passionately written lines, according to the burning passion of the day and place, with mambo rhythms, in “The Wanderings of the Reckless Girl” by Vargas Llosa, who used to pass through this place, too.
The bar is absolutely crammed full of locals-even Jacques Chirac knows where to drink the best rum, I happened to see him there, one evening-and it`s the place where “tu peux, tu veux, tu dois” that is you can, want, must taste all kinds of rum, from Martinica to Barbados, Cuba and Jamaica…

• La Vue of Park Hyatt – obviously on the 34th floor, the view can`t be but INCROYABLE  and is among “my all time fav”(yes, I love franglish, not only romglish), because, to my mind, the essence of the city and mainly the one of the Eiffel Tower lies in the stills and the scenery you can catch from above. An extra I have particularly appreciated here was the wide range of super creative cocktails.

• Le Ciel – if you fancy some champagne, one evening(and when I say champagne, I refer to all kinds and combinations of drinks with frothy liquids or bubbles as notre amie, Miss Morodan), go to Le Ciel. Besides the magic view over Paris, the bar with champagne and cocktails made with champagne has everything you can imagine in matters of great mixes, that make you feel you are in the seventh heaven or simply shine. And the cocktail-lovers have an entire Bellini book, here, they can choose from!

• Le Bar Long from Le Royal Monceau – stunned me with the simplicity of lines and the fabulous light placed in the décor, intensified by the unique Starck, among collections of art and luxury details. It`s the place where people get together to talk, to feel cozy and to relish cocktails fixed by the ones of the best bartenders.

• Bar 228 from Le Meurice belongs to the wide array of bars with bartenders, each and all very good, and the Starck touch is “coup de foudre”! And he does it so well…The French designer`s re-interpretation of space, along with the delicate drinks to go with some delicious snacks make 228 “quelque chose d`inoubliable”.

• Le Bristol Bar from Le Bristol is so renowned thanks to the “couturiers-bartenders” from here, mainly Head Barman Maxime Hoerth, who has his own book, with techniques of fixing cocktails and incredible, signature recipes, that you hardly know where to begin…

• Le Bar from Georges V, equally uber classic, refined and attractive, a rendez-vous point for everybody. A perfect ambiance in an exclusive Parisian background.

• The Bar from Hôtel Costes isn`t an exception on the wonderful list of the places where the party, the good music and the d.j, accompanied by such lovely drinks that the French definitely know how to make, are the most suitable ingredients of a perfect weekend.
