One day journal in Tulum
If you happen to be on holiday in Mexico, in Quintana Roo area (Cancun, Cozumel or on the coast between Cancun and Tulum) then spending a day in Tulum is a must!
And because it is a cool, bohemian and gypsy style destination, you should make the most of it!
Therefore:
You should wake up early to get to Tulum and have a quick breakfast so that you can have enough time to enjoy the rest of the day.
8:30 a.m - it is worth visiting the ruins of Tulum, the ones that used to formely defend the city, the only Mayan city existing on the coast, as a matter of fact.
10:00 a.m - it is the right time to go to a cenote and have a swim in these little, subterranean lakes, as much as you like, the closest to Tulum are Dos Ojos and Grand Cenote.
11:30 p.m - spending the time on the beach, as you like, enjoying the azure waters and the cheer fulness, as much as you can, until the sun gets down, you`d better be at Ahau or at Papaya Playa project.
18:00 p.m - you can enjoy the lovely sunset colors, accompanied by beach party with dj at Ahau (a spot which I liked a lot) or in other places where they organize such parties (to be checked)
21:00 p.m - have dinner by candlelight, the Jaguar House or El Tábano are exceedingly romantic and extremely surprising as far as the Mexican gastronomy is concerned (or wherever you choose from the multitude of restaurants with very tasty food). - https://www.coloredideas.one/en/11-reasons-why-mexican-cuisine-stands-comfortably-on-the-unesco-list.htm
