I have a great admiration for them. For those who are daring, who search for new challenges, who frankly admit their passion for tradition and won`t give up, not even when the catastrophy seemed to have completely destroyed them.
Most often, we owe them the beauty and I never get tired of discovering stories, places and creations in the wide world that can reveal them to the world. It`s the case of a hotel which looks like a snowball, in the magnificent Imerovigli, a village in the picturesque Santorini, where some of the “cave”- type traditional houses, which used to be 300 hunderd years ago and which outlived the 1956 earthquake were turned into one of the smartest, the most minimalist and relaxing, the coziest and the most original boutique hotels which I have ever walked into.
