Said nostalgically Humphrey ( that Rick from Casablanca) to his lover, with a reply which has became more than famous. This movie has a “je ne sais quoi” that places it in my top 3 favourites and is a super powerful symbol of Morocco to me, which I associate with flavours of colored streets, art deco accents, fascinating architecture and Moorish charm….But neither Paris nor Morocco has ever seen what San Juan has seen in Puerto Rico.
A mixture of Spanish influences, history of the 1800`s, Moroccan and Indonesian design, in a Puerto Rican décor! Briefly, Casablanca hotel, Puerto Rico. An outburst of colour with an eco-friendly attitude and a view over the old centre, that`s what I found in CasaBlanca of San Juan.

   • The Moroccan columns and  bathing houses, the oriental carpets, the Indonesian lights, the original floors are quite special, and a fantastic item is a Spanish chandelier

   • 32 different rooms but at the same time having a common story, that abound in natural light and warm hues
   • Organic brands, perfect comfort, and 100% relaxation
   • Such a pleasant Sun Deck, where I enjoyed some dream views over the city and the sea; the spot is ornamented with sun loungers, waiting for their “customers”, while lazing around in the sun

   • And to raise matters and eclecticism to the power of ten , the restaurant is called “Café Americain” and Casablanca is on, in the background, while the guests are enjoying “comida Criola”, sandwiches and delicious salads!
