I`ve already confessed and I say it again: I love the weeks before a journey, while you are eagerly waiting, daydreaming, and carefully planning by learning from other travelers, sources&stories about the destination that I chose to let my suitcases rest. All of them make emotion and the whole experience last longer and I would never give it up...But...But, there is Portugal. Oh, the place that made me believe, more strongly than before, in the joy...of the hazard, of the spur of the moment and of the confidence in the genuine adventure. This is the way I discovered Coimbra and the entire, sweet happy end of the event brought me to the amazing Aveiro, too, or the Little Venice of Portugal.
As a matter of fact,after arriving in Bucaco, I set my eyes on a guide about Aveiro, I wasn`t far from it, and...I went off!

• It takes about 40-50 minute walk from Coimbra to get there, and walking as far as there is worth the whole effort

• It`s super charming through the multitude of little and beautiful Art Nouveau buildings, that represent, in my opinion, the strong point of the town.

• Along the channels you can see a lot of other awesome, colorful and nice houses and constructions, dressed in amazing azulejos

• Don`t miss a tour across the channels, by the little, fancy boats, known as moliceiros, that seem to be taken out of Van Gogh`s paintings.

• Try their specific sweets, ovosmoles, (soft-boiled eggs) with sweet yolk paste, in various seashell shapes. Yummm!
