I know, you are going to say this sounds more like a tautology, that all weddings are wonderful in their own way and it`s true, I agree with it. To my mind, what really distinguishes them in most cases, is the spot. The spot which sometimes projects you in a different world, changes  your perceptions and emotions and offers you experiences which turn your wedding into a truly unforgettable story.

I realized that, one quiet afternoon, in Thailand, in the miraculous Chiang Mai, more precisely, at Dhara Devi, where I spent several hours to watch how a wedding setup is arranged. Although I didn`t count among the guests, although I would have been delighted to take part in the wedding ceremony, I enjoyed one of the most romantic, exciting and special experiences  I`ve ever lived. The Thais`care for details, and their special aesthetic sense can be seen at every step: traditional decors with carved wooden pillars, night lamps with sophisticated elements, flower paths brightly lit, flower arrangements of orchids, gerbera, hibiscus, anturium and Buddhist statues which are lit and dressed in white and red coats, with flowers all around.

The setup was leading to the small temple in the garden of the hotel, where the ceremony was to take place. The hotel staff was ready to satisfy the most pretentious demands and the hustle and bustle as well as people`s efforts to get everything ready in time, created a very pleasant and catching energy, spreading quickly among people. I discretely withdrew, when the whole décor was ready, I was extremely happy that I had the chance to attend these splendid ” backstage games”, I wished them every happiness in their marriage, but silently, without uttering a word, and…they lived happily ever after…here`s my colored fairy tale!
