A day journal in Bangkok
No words, just action. This is the mantra that guided all the important events that should be lived if you have only 24 hours at your disposal to experience an adventure in the bombastic Bangkok; time passes incredibly quickly here, each and every hour is precious because it can promise&offer you so many stories among temples, colored markets, extravagant rooftops, shopping areas that you cannot miss.
Therefore 1 day, one challenge: Bangkok
8:00 a.m – take a look round the flower market, to smell its fresh scents; early in the morning is the perfect time for “flower walking”
9:00 a.m – quicken your pace and go towards the wondeful Grand Place, to see the temple with the jade Buddha statue (Wat Phra Kaeo)- gor-geous!
11:00 a. – Wat Pho which is close to the Grand Palace should be checked, for the richness of its ornaments and its impressive age.
12:30 p.m – don`t fail to go to Wat Arun, by boat, to see traditional, Thai decors and a great mix of Hindu and Buddhist styles.
13:30 p.m – it`s time for an Afternoon Tea at the classic and smart Author`s Lounge .
15:00 p.m – if you fancy going shopping, take a look round the Central World, and for souvenirs of all kinds I recommend Narai Phand, which is opposite.(very convenient)
18:00 p.m – you have to try Sky or Moon Bar at sunset; but in case you want a more peaceful atmosphere and a view just as spectacular, then go to 360 Lounge Millenium.
20:00 p.m – turn the end of your day into a glorious moment with a dinner at Issaya Siamese club.
