What Paris saw

But it didn`t see any other corner in this world…I don`t want to say long words and I don`t want to upset any supporter of other place in this big, wide world, but nowhere else have I seen so many bars and places where you can have a drink, like in Paris.
So, I put The City of Lights in the top Cities…of cocktails, with fascinating, mixological secrets, with Michelin stars for all tastes, with prices and experiences for all pockets, with stories ready to be explored any Parisian night. Eclectic bars, al fresco, wine bars with amazing or astonishingly simple designs, all offer mixtures of (not) guilty pleasures. On y va?

• Le 228 Cocktail, from Bar228 at Le Meurice-“the place” or  “le lieu”, the cool venue of Parisians in a place that Starck turned into something wow, tickles your tongue with a great savor of sauce and peach liqueur, some flavors of exotic litchi, an extra flavor of strawberries, for good looks and douceur and obviously champaaaaagne;

• Viex Fort-I confess, from the very beginning that it is on my colored list of magical cocktails and you can test it at La Rhumerie, a bar that  pays homage to the old and famous rum in a flawless way. At first sight, it may seem a strange, but an extremely tasty mix of rum, ginger liqueur, Angostura bitter, and triple dry. Le triple s: ”splendid, superb, sensationnel”

• Ispahan, to continue the series of unusual and original bars and drinks. Le Bar Long from Royal Monceau, where Starck left his mark again(we are in Paris, aren`t we?) is that cozy and slightly flamboyant place where I delighted my senses with a mix of Vodka, black tea, Pierre Herme rose syrup, completed with fruity syrup of raspberry and everyday champagne! That is Ispahan! Délicieux!

• George Fizz, at George V, is, as you expect, classic and refined, with sweet and sophisticated touches of vodka, fine peach cream, apricot juice and sour cranberries, Chambord and a little raspberry, a few drops of honey and in the end, the top note-mais oui, the champagne smile;

• Rum Swizzle, from Le Bar du Bristol, where bartenders are called alchemists of their cocktails, and the bar a kind of “designer couturier” of unique drinks and ambiance, boasts of white rum mixed with Ambre rum, pineapple and lime, a bit of liqueur of velvet-like apricots, sugar cane syrup and Angostura absinth(to remind us of the beginning of the past century and of how popular the absinth used to be here…)

• Le “L”Cocktail, at La Vue Bar, romantic, panoramic, and famous on the list of the spots to be checked in Paris gathered in its wonderful composition some Hendricks Gin, Cointreau, healthy and tasty lemon and honey juice, and some champagne, because it can`t  miss…and everything is now…

…merveilleux!
