With the risk of sounding more like a cliché, the Maldive Islands seem to be a piece of heaven thrown in the Indian Ocean. In fact, there are several pieces, hundreds of them – the atolls of which the islands are made of - like floating biscuits in a glass of milk.
The wonderful landscapes, the white sand, the resorts with dozens of small houses strung above the indescribable turquoise blue water, all of them are in my heart, they are forever imprinted on my retina, and turned this corner into the perfect holiday about which I want to tell you all sorts of things.

1. on these islands you will find two under water restaurants, among the very few in the world, at the luxury resorts Conrad Maldives Rangali Island - where you can dine at Ithaa restaurant, the only one in the world built under water and entirely made of glass! – and at Anantara Kihavah Villas, that I’ve tested . SPECTACULAR!!

2. if you like under water sensations, you can continue with the bar 15 Below, at the Hotel W Retreat & Spa and enjoy both the view and a great atmosphere, with music and famous DJs, but I suggest you should also try club Subsix, all under water, obviously, at the resort Niyama. It is the first club of this kind in the world!
3. you also have to dive with the Whale submarine (while you're in Maldives), which is the largest tourist’s submarine for passengers in the world!
4. the capital, Malé, is worth visiting firstly because you have to feel, to understand, to really get the “genius loci” and the energy of everyday life in Maldives and don’t you even think about missing the fish market ! It's a true story.
