It`s a tiny, charming town, with a huge cultural heritage and quite a lot of famous characters, whose personal history is bound by that of the town. Innsbruck is the capital of Tyrol and besides the famous and precious crystals or winter sports it generously offers muses, palaces, cathedrals and chapels, towers, parks and fascinating, modern constructions, to all those who are fond of beauty and have patience. 1. A leisurely stroll through the Old Center, to admire the colorful little houses (the cherry on the cake is Helbling House, a masterpiece in gothic and baroque style, exquisitely decorated) but also Hofkirche, the gothic church crammed with German, Renaissance sculptures; plus the imposing Sf.Iakob, baroque Cathedral, very important in the area-the perfect way of spending some morning hours in Innsbruck.

2. You can`t miss Golden Dachl (The Golden Roof) and the musem that is housed there, that has been the landmark of the town, since the 16th century, lavishly ornamented; and if you are keen on museums, don`t fail to visit Ferdinandeum. Spare some time for the Hofburg Palace, that belonged to the Hapsburgs and is considered among the most impressive in Austria.
3. Well, Innsbruck has on more jewel (in the proper sense), namely Swarovsky Cristal Gallery, a museum devoted to crystals and the history of the brand, that also includes a shop. Cool!
4. Drink a hot chocolate or a coffee at Sacher café and then walk in the souvenir shops in the area.
5. Have your meal at Munding Café, the oldest in Tyrol, therefore having tradition. You can`t fail! And if you fancy a good cocktail, go to Bar 360, that offers you a spectacular view over the town.
