Fie ca a fost vorba de o comparatie absolut avantajata cu alte cetati medievale din Europa, fie ca a fost invocata magia fina a oraselor mici, pastrate cu intregul lor iz de istorii, legende si mistere, majoritatea a invins, iar Sighisoara este recomandarea colored de azi.
Toamna are inca destule zile superbe si week-enduri ruginii, asa ca o reintoarcere intr-unul dintre cele mai fascinante colturi de Romanie, cu casele sale vechi ce amintesc de saxonii din Transilvania care l-au fondat, cu aeru’-i medieval, in culori vesele, cu stradutele pietruite si ticsite de pravalii, de artizani, ateleiere de artisti, piete cu suveniruri, cu turnurile sale, restaurantele, cafenelele cochete, Sighisoara - patrimoniu UNESCO – e o destinatie oricand perfecta.
Din secolul al 12-lea, Castrum Sex sau Schassburg este una dintre cele mai bine pastrate cetati medievale din Europa, cu 9 turnuri (odinioara de aparare, ca cel al Croitorilor sau al Cizmarilor) si 3 bastioane, loc de nastere, se pare, al lui VladTepes, o minune de oras, de poveste, de istorie.

Colored list of Sighisoara:

   1. Stroll along the little streets that are in an exceptionally fine state of preservation, as if they built up a museum in itself, and admire the towers. Personally, I liked the Clock Tower best, a place from where you can see Sighisoara from above and visit the History Museum, in the same building, and the Cobblers` Tower

   2. Don’t fail to visit the Traditional Art Gallery (which is in the same building with the House of Vlad Dracul, Vlad The Impaler) where you are going to find some really special objects, beside the ceramics and the different decorations, peculiar wooden spoons, with their carved wooden handles, each one with its own story. I for one, bought the spoon of good luck and the one of hope

3. The House of Vlad Dracul where it is believed that Vlad Tepes(Vlad The Impaler) was born and that has an old fresco on the wall, is now a restaurant, where you can enter to drink a lemonade or to eat some traditional, lovely food: bean soup with smoked meat, in bread

   4. Have dinner at Casa cu Cerb, a renowned restaurant in Sighisoara, one of the oldest and interesting buildings in the town

   5. Drink a coffee and eat something sweet at Medieval Cafe

or at Casa Cositorarului

   6. Buy natural goodies(honey, zacusca and all sorts of jars filled with different stuff, from the little store near Turnul Cizmarilor)

   7. Climb up the covered stairs, The Scholars` Stairs to the School on the Hill, a 16th century historical monument and to the Church on the Hill, in gothic style, dating back to the year 1300
