To shop or not to shop? That is the question when you arrive in Dubai, the place where you know, feel, heeeear the frenzy of shopping. You are in the " mother of all malls" (there are 70 shopping areas, in all, in the city; Oh, I love Dubai!), at thousands kilometers away from Romania, the" struggle "itself is harsh! Shops vs Dubai - the city, the dunes, the sea. Well, what shall I choose? Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Finally (after having spent two days, from morning till night, only in the mall - yes, I admit it), you go out and discover the world beyond the shopping bags and boxes. And it’s...superb!

1. You wake up in a vibrant city, with a cosmopolitan capital, a true symbol of sky-scrapers and tall buildings (even of the tallest ones, if we think that Burj Khalifa, with its "head in the clouds" is the tallest building in the world and is right here) an extremely creative place, where the mixture of new structures and Islamic architecture turns Dubai into one of the most admired and visited town in the Middle East.

2. You let yourself overwhelmed by the grandeur of the huge spaces , of the impressive buildings, of the wow edifices which remind us of Las Vegas. You enjoy Jumeirah beach and hope to meet the Beckham family who own the most luxurious villa on the artificial island, in this area, you take photos, photos, photos, you admire one of the most expensive hotels in the world, the famous Burj Al Arab, you plan to get to the largest vertical  flower garden in the world, Dubai Miracle Garden (72.000 square meters of floral paradise) and finally you arrive at...the Mall. Yes, but not every mall. No! At Dubai Mall, the greatest mall in the world. Especially built for the most passionate shopaholics in the world.

That is to say...for all of us.
