The legend says that Hunuman, the God of monkeys, helped Rama save his wife, Sita, from Ravana’s bad hands, so the monkeys are looked upon as sacred beings here, like in all Hindi world.

The space of the forest is all theirs, and they are aware of it, it’s a small jungle where you can enjoy both exotic nature and adventure or a unique feeling of sacredness, too. You can’t possibly leave the place without visiting Pura Dalem Agung, a temple which was built in the XIV-th century and was devoted to the dead, it seems to be taken from an Indiana Jones movie.
