The Council Hotel - The council of the 10
A building raised at the beginning of the 16th century, which was the first town hall, a part of the medieval fortress of Hermannstadt. It was turned into a hotel. I was really attracted not only by its design, but also by its interesting location, because being stuck to the Council Tower, it gives you the opportunity to get there, by two steps, at evening time, enjoying a walk in the Little Market, the Big Market or on the Bridge of Lies. And believe me, it`s extremely pleasant! The Council is a chic and very welcoming boutique hotel, where the 10 rooms "got together" and "asked each other`s advice" on how to better welcome their guests. And here`s the result:
The Council Hotel "Colored List ":
* Prince, Royal, Rosa, Amber, Iris are some of the rooms waiting for you, all designed in a style which combines classical perfection with rustic touches, in royal colors that make you feel like a little duchess. At least, that`s how I felt

* Traditional Romanian food which seems to be so good that you can`t help tasting everything, at their super duper breakfast

- I particularly liked the reception area because of its design, which reminds me of the postcards with a medieval Sibiu, but also because of the antiquities they gathered here

* Comfort is the watch word here, so, for a total relaxation, it`s a perfect option of accommodation
* It`s only 200 m away from Brukenthal, so, the museum and art fans will be very close to their favorite sightseeing
* History through all pores, a thing that makes The Council not only a hotel but also a tourist attraction of the wonderful Sibiu, in my opinion.
