The Amalfi Coast, the film scene
A warm, sunny day of mild September, around midday meal, smelling the scent of the sea and the fragrance of the Italian coast.
The ambiance is like in Talented Mr. Repley, the scene in which Tom and Dickie were making plans together, long before the incidents and tensions arose, having only the serene sea and the quietness as companions…
And a big, recurrent character, the witness of my cinematic moment: Positano, which has not a bit of ” too much”, is the perfect spot to spend a day off the coast, on a boat facing the shore: only you, the sea and the sun…
I set off from the harbor, by a little boat from the Lucibello firm, hoping that we will admire the whole, little town, but also the coast, while sailing; well, as all the dreams come true in Amalfi, I was right again, I hadn`t failed, Positano seen from the sea is a real splendor! I passed by the tiny Praiano, Furore with its famous fiord, Atrani, (which unfolds in the most beautiful way from the sea), I also went past the picturesque, nearby Amalfi.
The houses that had been built and perched on the hillsides, as well as the towns around are absolutely marvelous when seen from the sea, and Sophia Loren`s residence over here, standing on its hill, all by itself, (how else
) is really awesome.
Prosecco, bluesea, luxuriant nature and unforgettable colors, like on all the perfect holidays.
