Sorrento - Torna a Surriento, Famme campà!
“Come back to Sorrento!/Make me live for real!” are the lyrics of one of the most popular Naples song that everybody listened to at least once, sung by the master Pavarotti.
Sorrento is a kind of “hub of the universe” on the Amalfi Coast, the perfect starting point, if you want to explore both the northern part, towards Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast.

It`s a touristic place, it`s true, more crowded than the other ones in the area, but I loved its charm, typical of a true-born Italian town, with its streets crammed with restaurants, sweet shops, cafés and shops packed with souvenirs and local products. Ceramics, laces, leather and intarsio, all of them blend with each other in a charming frenzy.

I also adored strolling along the colorful alleys, having almost got lost on the way, I came across other shops and restaurants, and the view of the harbor from above, from the park of the Communal Villa, from where you can see the pontoons with sun loungers and umbrellas.

Daca ajungi aici, nu rata ocazia sa iti faci niste sandale superbe, pe loc, la magazinul Borgo dei Fiori, care mie mi-a placut foarte mult.
Food? Certo! Lunch at one of the restaurants with fish, in the harbor, is more than delicious and if you want to leisurely sip a cocktail (with a bird`s eye view) go to La Pergola, at Bellevue Syrene Hotel or at Vittoria Terrace Bar (Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria). Friends know the reason of my choice!
