Miami love
“Miami Vice” (serial), ”Welcome to Miami” (Will Smith’s play), ”Miami Sound Machine” (Gloria Estefan and her husband’s band), Miami Dolphins (football), ”Moon over Miami” (the famous movie with the gorgeous Betty Grable), Miami South Beach (the famous “neighbourhood”, The Biltmore Hotel Miami (one of the most famous hotels in the world)…I stop here, although the list can go on, because this metropolis is so well-known and so beloved by Americans, Europeans, Asians, children, artists, sportsmen, businessmen and so on, that all of them make reference to it in a way or another.






And here I am with my list in Miami:
Colored List-things you must do in Miami:
- Admire South Beach, with its beautiful Art Deco buildings in Ocean Drive





- Visit some of the representative hotels in Collins Avenue such as The National, The Raleigh, Delano, Sagamore
- Go for a walk along Lincoln Road, a fancy and relaxed pedestrian street, with cafés, restaurants and shops



- Pay a visit to Venetian Pool in Coral Gables


- Go to Casa Casuarina, the former mansion of Versace, which is on no.1116, Ocean Drive and that you can admire form outside, as it is now an exclusivist club

- Walk through the Vizcaya gardens that belong to the villa with the same name, in Coconut Grove
- Enjoy your afternoon tea at the historical Biltmore Hotel and on this occasion, go for a tour through its rooms, or have a cocktail on the edge of the pool, at Cascade Bar


- Go to Little Havana, by all means, and if you are a cigar smoker, walk into the Cuban cigar shops,such as El Credito


- Take a cruise with Island Cruises, to see the houses of the stars on Star Island

- Enjoy a dream evening at Sky Bar, in Shore Club Hotel


- Go to Mondrian Sunset Lounge, to admire a sunset



• Take the brunch at Nikki Beach or if you fancy something more posh, go to the Jazz Brunch from The Setai or at Fontana at the Biltmore Hotel
• If you are a beach club fan, with djs and parties, Nikki Beach is the spot!


• Go to The Raleigh Hotel to drink a cocktail and to see the most beautiful pool in all Miami

• For the antiques lovers, on Sundays on Lincoln Road it is held an interesting open air fair, every two weeks
