The summer holidays is so near, that I already feel the salty breeze and the hot sand beneath my feet. Having this thought on my mind, I think that witnessing a battle of the exotic, infinite blue and endless beaches is not such a bad idea. Ladies and gents… the battle of the islands! Langkawi vs Boracay!


Gong and match!

• Ultra - picturesque scenery thanks to its Karst formations, most of them being found in Unesco World Geopark, inLangkawi - brilliant experience!

• Another strong point for Langkawi - the bird`s eye view from the Sky Bridge, a suspension bridge on the same mountain, one of the longest bridges in the world which  definitely needs to be photographed.

• Pantai Cenang Beach in Langkawi 

is like White Beach in Boracay, which is extremely long, much more crowded, but crammed full of bars and restaurants, each and all very cool and good and wild parties.

• Boracay is really a lot more touristic than other places, to my mind, maybe because of the people who jostle in the crowds (jostling is rather pleasant) and whom you meet in White Beach; 

However, you shouldn`t fancy that Unesco World Park is not crowded, here you can discover awesome little bays, not a soul can be seen in this spot, where you can stop to have a picnic and swim without being troubled by anybody or anything.

• The water and the sand are a lot more spectacular than in Boracay. Honestly!

• You can go for cruises in both destinations, but in Boracay you can find the boats that are commonly known as paraws, being accompanied by impressive sunsets, which, I admit, they touched a deep chord in my heart.

• If you are keen on going to luxury resorts, then Langkawi is the right place for you.

• And as a matter of fact I was about to end by saying that the Malayan cuisine impressed me more than the Philippineone. De gustibus….

And the winner is…? I`m waiting for the referees opinion.
