The river starts its impressive journey from the center of Spain, flows across Portugal for several kilometers and then flows into the Atlantic right in the welcoming Porto, after a journey which may turn into an adventure for many travellers.

Its navigable areas are real opportunities for moments of exaltation and pure beauty and if you have the chance, I advise you not to miss the experience. I chose a stroll along the 6 bridges, in Porto and I had no regrets. On the contrary!

I took the cruise in the port, from one of the 2 companies that organize them, and, in spite of the crowds of tourists that jostled in a queue, I was lucky enough to have a very good seat.
The cruise lasted an hour during which I leisurely contemplated the old Ribeira that abounds in stories of colorful houses and medieval architecture, but also Vila Nova de Gaia, where the blessed Portuguese liquid came into being. The views with the Dom Luis I bridge represented another place of the itinerary that I was completely fascinated by..
