One day I was thinking of how would the holidays be like without islands? Particularly without the Greek islands? I’ll tell you: duller. And this is not because you can not find other wonderful places, with sea and sun, but because, on the Greek islands, besides all the reasons why people go there (prices, beautiful views, quality services) you can find a very genuine and attractive mix of all sorts of entertainments,relaxation and high spirits. This is my belief. And I’m not the only one to have this opinion.

I’m very keen on the architecture of that place which is simple, neat, white but special. And Mykonos isn’t an exception, the concept is the same. It is here that I discovered an exceptional five star hotel, Cavo Tagoo, particularly by the way they combined the typical Greek, Mediterranean style, with a cosmopolitan touch and a fickleness of which anyone who crosses its threshold can enjoy.

Let’s go in:

• Designed by a famous architect, the hotel achieves the most demanding standards and requirements, by using nature in its structure and design: natural stone, wood, bamboo, all of them perfectly combined. The interior is enriched with hues of color and a bit of golden shade, here and there (not kitschy at all)
• The lounge is great, it’s my favorite place from there: they kept the same natural elements: wood, cloth, stone and water which seems endless, and when it gets dark and the sun sets, you lie on a lounger, a cocktail in your hand, scanning the horizon, it’s paradise on earth...

• The Restaurant Kiku is one of the best in Mikonos, and if you want to have dinner or lunch, you’d better call earlier to book in advance, they even recommend it to you.
  
  

Breakfast is one of the richest and most divine of all I’ve ever eaten before! And everybody is familiar with "Breakfast Nook"

• There is nothing to worry about at Cavo Tagoo: you have spa, pools, boutique, massage, private dining, baby-sitting, organized trips, all you have to do is...to come!
