A day journal in Istanbul
What can you do first and foremost in Istanbul, the place that vibes under the blazing sun and under the energies of the mosques, of the sultans`palaces and the stunning bazaars, of the taverns and the meze that fascinate you by the multitude of goodies? With a little, careful planning and help, a day in Istanbul can turn into an unforgettable time for every visitor.
I`ll tell you how to achieve it:
9:00am - first check the grandiose Aya Sofia, to make sure you can catch it at the right hour, then don`t fail to stop at the Blue Mosque.
11:00 - go for a little walk through the charmful Sultanahmet and stop at Topkapi Palace. It`s a must!
13:00 - take a look round the Grand Bazaar and halt for a coffee at Tezem…and do a little shopping, of course.
14:00pm - have lunch at Balikci Sabhattin with meze and fishes of all kinds.
16:00pm - a visit at Galata Tower is needed, with some instapics from above.
17:00pm - you can relax through the beautiful Cucurkuma, by going for a leisurely stroll.
18:00pm - it`s high time for you to go boating on the Bosporus and believe me, it`s definitely worth it.
20:30pm - you can indulge yourself in a gorgeous cocktail at Mikla bar.
21:30pm - have dinner at Mezze by Lemon Tree or at Yeni Lokanta(both of them are close to Mikla)
